I love working with Natalie and Jake. Not only are they super stylish, creative and beautiful! But they have a chemistry that can’t be faked. Also, any girl who shows up for her shoot in a Betsy Johnson dress is instantly my favourite. ( I’d like to also congratulate Natalie on completing the 40 day yoga challenge, that is seriously impressive! )
I shot Alicia and Dave’s wedding on New Years Eve this winter. I seriously love these two. They are sweet, fun, fashionable and super photogenic! You can check out their engagement session here. They whole bridal party got ready at the Westin Bayshore hotel, then they braved the cold for photos around Stanley Park! I was so happy Alicia and Dave decided to do a first look (where the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony) so we had plenty of time and light for shooting. The ceremony and reception were held at Heritage Hall in Vancouver and even though I was gone before then, I heard the party held strong until long after the countdown.
I’m excited to blog this gorgeous lady from my December boudoir marathon. She’s such a natural beauty and the camera loves her! These photos were taken at the Loden Hotel in Vancouver, where I shoot all my marathons. If you have been considering a boudoir shoot, this is the way to go! The next date is Sunday May 15th. 2011 Engagement Photo Contest!
Wedding season is almost here and I’m excited for all the great things this year is going to bring. So, to celebrate a great 2011 and to ring in 2012 I’m running a contest!
Vote for your favorite engagement photo from 2011 (or just vote for your best friend) and the couple with the most votes will win a 11 x 14 gallery wrap canvas of their photo!

Jessica and Dave will be getting married in September at Swan E Set (I’ve been dying to shoot there). They are both pilots, hence the airport themed shoot – which I loved, especially the use of the aviators! They toughed out the cold for their engagement session after 3 (or was it 4?) cancellations due to rain! Gotta love Vancouver in the winter. I have a good feeling that all that bad luck will guarantee them a perfect sunny wedding day

I’m seriously behind on blogging due to my time spent travelling – but I’m very excited to share some of the beautiful ladies from the Boudoir Marathon I did in December. I’ve said it before, but to anyone who’s thinking about having boudoir photos done, you are by no means obligated to have your photos on my website. Every lady on here has given me specific permission (thank you all, I love you!).
The date of the next marathon is May 14th and 15th. If you are interested, message me and reserve your spot!
